MEGAN THORNBERRY, JD
Megan is a former trial attorney at Walters Bender Strohbehn & Vaughan, P.C. Megan is a graduate of the Pembroke Hill School, holds a bachelor’s degree from Denison University and the Juris Doctorate from the School of Law at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2004 she was named “Young Lawyer of the Year” by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and was recognized as a Top 10 Lawyer by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Megan is a former president of the Association for Women Lawyers. Married to Steve Thornberry, Megan is the mother of two children.
MOLLY MAXWELL, LSCSW
Molly Maxwell is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School, the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas, and New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Molly started her career in New York at Metropolis Magazine before taking a marketing position at City of Hope, a non-profit healthcare organization dedicated to cancer treatment and research. After earning her license as a clinical social worker, she began a career at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, working with children and young people born with HIV and teaching first year medical students a course in doctor-patient communication.
